Rally in Pender a Success

Pender, NE-- The Newmar Kountry Kruiser Rally was held in the Blue Ox RV Park September 12-15. Group members from all over Nebraska gathered to enjoy golfing, tours of nearby places, an RV back-up contest and each other's company.

One of the highlights of the event was the traditional Blue Ox Back-up contest.. Seventeen pairs signed up for the contest. One person was blindfolded and the other was given a radio. The blindfolded person backed a motorhome around cones by listening to the directions from the other person as they gave them over the radio. Jim and Marilyn Krueger, Norfolk, won first place, followed by Floyd and Karen Rothfuss, Omaha. Jim Schwieger, Homer, and Jim Lee, Grand Island, paired up won the third place spot.

"Not only was Blue Ox hospitable, but the whole town of Pender opened up their doors and their arms to us,"¯ said Jim Krueger. "I couldn't think of any way to make it better."¯

Additionally, Blue Ox hosted a BBQ dinner to welcome all the guests at the rally. The company's employees fired up the grills and provided a picnic for the rally attendees. Awards from the back-up contest were awarded and everyone enjoyed the evening of socializing.

"We were thrilled to have the Kountry Kruisers stay with us,"¯ said Jay Hesse, president of Blue Ox. "We look forward to having other groups join us for rallies like this one."¯

Also, kudos to Blue Ox for their new hitch trader classifieds where buyers and sellers of used hitches can come together.

Blue Ox are certainly a great supplier to the RV market. They also go over what is expected to look after their customer's needs.
I would only buy my tow equipment from them.
