FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Brazel’s RV Performance Releases a
Hydraulic Auto Apply Brake - Fail-Safe System

August, 22, 2011 - Centralia, WA -- Brazel’s RV Performance announced today that it has developed a failsafe auto apply hydraulic brake system called the "Ultra-Save."

The Ultra-Save prevents the auto park brake from applying while the vehicle is in motion. The kit retails for under $300 and installs in under an hour and a half. It operates as a “fail-safe” system in case of a pump and/or pressure failure. As you know, on a P-series, should the auto park activate when the vehicle is in motion it will destroy the park brake shoes, park brake cable and output shaft seal resulting in a repair bill in excess of $600 plus a possible towing bill. A W-24 failure can cost in excess of $2400! … not to mention the inconvenience. The Ultra-Save system will work on any vehicle that uses a hydraulically operated auto park system.

All I can say is that it's here!

Call Steve or Jon by 8:00am Pacific and they'll walk you through it. The hardware technology exceeded the website presentation. I'm sure they'll get it published as soon as they have the time.

(This is an exclusive release announcement for us by the way!)

Will this be a do it yourself item or is there anywhere closer to the Midwest to have it installed?

I had doubts that I could install an Allison Ultrapower Grade Brake on my rig .... but I did. I guess it all depends on your wrench turning ability.

Hi

Does this eliminate the green and brown switch? Not sure
how this kit works.

I guess the above switches are the ones that fail the most.
The pump motors seem to last. Hope to be there in early
spring to have a kit installed.

Thanks in advance
