CUMMINS DIESEL TECHNOLOGY TO BE FEATURED ON MOTORHEAD GARAGE

COLUMBUS, Ind. (Sept. 9, 2011) - Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) will be featured in an upcoming episode of "Motorhead Garage" to highlight the history of diesel technology. As part of the "big rig" series, the episode, hosted by Sam Memmolo and Dave Bowman, will debut Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. on Fox Sports Net (FSN).

In its second year of production, "Motorhead Garage" has reunited the pioneers in automotive how-to TV - Memmolo and Bowman - to analyze and advise viewers of the latest products and technology on the market. The upcoming episode will join Cummins experts with the show's hosts to take a look at Cummins history as a diesel technology leader and provide insight into Cummins on-highway engines and products.

Filming for the "Motorhead Garage" episode took place at a Cummins facility located in the company's headquarters in Columbus. "This episode gives us the opportunity to explain how Cummins has leveraged its history and expertise in diesel technology to develop the industry-leading products available today," said Zack Ellison, Director - Customer Technical Support, who will appear on the show.

"The hosts are true gearheads, and fit well into the Cummins culture. They really know their stuff, and were a joy to work with," Ellison added.

The "Motorhead Garage" episode featuring Cummins will debut Sunday, Sept.11 at 11:30 a.m. EST on Fox Sports Net (FSN) with a re-air of the episode on Monday, Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m. EST.

About "Motorhead Garage"

The "Motorhead Garage" TV series, with the original dynamic duo of Memmolo and Bowman, formerly of "Shadetree Mechanic" and "Two Guys Garage," also bring the audience an inside look into the exciting world of trucking. You will find Memmolo and Bowman either tackling step-by-step installations in their home garage, or taking the audience on the road traveling throughout the country visiting the heart-and-soul areas of the trucking industry.

Finding the real heroes who keep our truckers safe and on the highways, Memmolo and Bowman work with manufacturing innovators to install the latest in mechanical technology. These special big-rig editions in the series add to the team's wide array of mechanical feats. The national television series airs each Sunday at 11:30 a.m. EST and each Monday at 4:30 p.m. EST on Fox Sports Net (FSN).
