Florida RV Super Show Sales Topple Previous MCD Sales Records

McKinney, TX – MCD Innovations, the world’s largest manufacturer of roller shades for RVs, posted record sales at the January RV Super Show in Tampa, FL. According to company spokesperson, Peggy Grich, the Tampa Super Show has set the tone for 2013 and sales expectations are that they will continue to be strong for the rest of the year. “We were talking to people every moment of the show, highlighting both the American Duo/Solo™ Line and the new value-priced GOLD Series Shades. We worked diligently to provide our customers with all the information they needed to make the best possible decisions for their lifestyle.”

Grich also noted that many of the new and used RVs on display at the show already feature factory-installed MCD shades including Winnebago, Foretravel, Kibbi-Renegade, Newmar, Phoenix, KZ, Excel, Dynamax, Coachmen, Coach House, New Horizons, Holiday Rambler, Fleetwood, Heartland, DRV, Monaco, and others. “Many of the individuals and couples I visited with came to the booth because they saw the MCD shades in the new coaches, Class Bs and Cs, and fifth-wheels,” said Grich. “We’re happy to see the RV industry turn around and are looking forward to a more healthy economy that allows the public to feel good about improving their RV lifestyles.”

MCD Innovations has been engineering and producing an array of industry-leading sun protection products since 2003 in their state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in McKinney, TX. That's great to hear, I do know that if we would have bought a used coach that would have been our first upgrade, absolutely hate those pleated day night shades our 5'er had. I imagine that a lot of folks feel the same from what you just posted.

Absolutely right, Trap. We always felt the pleated shades that came with our current rig were not representative of the otherwise top quality of the rest of the unit. We first saw the MCD shades a little over three years ago but it took us a year to make up our minds to retrofit. Had them for two years now and wish we hadn't waited so long.
