I would only Buy Ford Chassis

I have pulled 15 years 2 trailers with a E150 never ever had any issue with van. Just like the E150 I had I Now have a E450 Chassis 1 SLIDE OUT on Gulfstream B plus BT Cruiser with 30k miles. We jut returned from 3000 mile trip towing a Ford Escape and averaged 10.5 to 11.5mpg on 90% most of the trip v10 (unless I had gotten gas with etanol then I got 1 mpg less.) I easily get 12 plus without car driving the same way.
Granted I stayed 55mpg all the time, but the coach handled like I didnt even have a car behind us. Rock solid and dependable Ford is. Plus can handle the weight and the tow.

Now with this new generation TRANSPORT van that took the Econolines place I am curious what they will build on it, but it wont ever hold what the e450 can do. Ford is still continuing to keep making the E450 chassis for I would assume a long time. So I am happy for that.
