Lazydays Now Installing MCD Shades

PRESS RELEASE

Lazydays Now Installing MCD Shades

July 29, 2011, McKinney, TX – MCD Innovations, manufacturer of the world’s finest day/night roller shades for the RV industry, and Lazydays, the world’s largest single-site RV dealership, have teamed up to provide custom retrofits of the MCD American Duo™ day/night shade system in any new or cherished RV, right at the convenient Lazydays service center in Seffner, FL.

Lazydays service technicians were recently provided on-site training by Tremaine Mitchell, MCD Senior Installer, at their facility in Florida. During the week-long training, Mitchell worked with nine of Lazydays’ finest technicians from beginning to end in the retrofit process. The team measured coaches at the beginning of the week and had shades completely installed by week’s end. “Many different coach models, configurations, and years were evaluated so that the Lazydays team would be prepared to take care of any MCD Day/Night Shade installation without a hitch,” said Travis Townsley, Senior RV Market Manager for MCD. “The Lazydays service team is well-equipped and now well-trained to install and finish out the project whether it be one manually operated shade or an entire coach operated via remote control.”

“We are happy to have joined forces with Lazydays, an organization that takes customer service very seriously. This training, combined with the MCD product line, will provide the best possible customer experience. When you put together a great product with great installation and service, the customer wins,” said Townsley.

“MCD products are highly regarded in our industry and are a standard feature on many mid-to-high line motorhomes and fifth wheels as well as a growing number of Class B and C models. We are excited about our partnership with MCD and now being in a position to offer MCD products to all of our aftermarket customers.” said Bill Tickel, Parts and Service Director for Lazydays.

Many Class A, B, C and fifth-wheel OEM manufacturers have chosen to include MCD American Duo™ Shades as original equipment in their current model lineup. The quality and innovation of the MCD Shades have both OEM manufacturers and aftermarket customers demanding that MCD products be in their units.

“The MCD ClearView II Solar Screen fabric is the best in the industry for blocking both UV rays and heat coming into a coach,” noted Townsley. “During these hot summer months it is important to do everything you can to keep the heat out. Replacing old-fashioned blinds and pleated shades with a state-of-the-art MCD American Duo Shade System is the best way to reduce that heat with the added benefit of being able to see out clearly while still providing privacy. Now even more owners can take advantage of the many features offered by MCD shades by having them installed at their convenience at the Lazydays facility. ”
