Lichtsinn Motors makes donation to local food bank, selects Holiday bike winner


Ron Lichtsinn presents the bicycle prize to Joseph Hovinga at the recent Holiday Open House.

December 28, 2009, Forest City, IA -- Thanks to donations from customers and attendees of the Annual Lichtsinn Motors Holiday Open House, Lichtsinn Motors was able to donate dozens of food items to the Neighborhood Food Bank in Forest City.

The Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec. 12, featured chili, hot dogs, cookies and beverages and Santa even made an appearance for pictures with the children who attended.

Joseph Hovinga, son of Jeff and Coleen Hovinga of Forest City, won the drawing for a free children's bicycle. Robert Knutson of Forest City won the drawing for a free oil change and multi-point inspection from Lichtsinn Motors.
