Marathon Coach Marking 20 Years at World HQ

Marathon Coach Inc. is currently marking the 20th anniversary of its custom-designed world headquarters in Coburg, Ore., which houses the companyís manufacturing, sales and service operations.

According to a press release, the facility is built on 17.5 acres with approximately 160,000 square feet of production space. The company noted that the facility was designed to consolidate Marathonís operations under one roof, and includes a specialized interior design studio, engineering hub, cabinet production, full-service exterior paint shop with four paint booths, upholstery department and nine-bay service center. In addition, the facility houses extensive parts operation, composites and fabrication, metal working, solid surface counters, glass and mirrors, marketing, sales and headquarter operations.

Marathon Coach #1199 is an H3-45 Prevost conversion with four Valid slides. Features include rope lighting around the inside of each window stile, wood plank flooring in the salon and bedroom, a leather sofa, custom headboard, a 6.5" TechLink monitor at the water bay, an additional 19" pop-up LCD TV at the dinette with computer docking and a cordless keyboard and mouse, a lighted make-up mirror, a Dirt Devil central vacuum, two built in hair dryers, a built in coffee maker, an optional 4" touch panel located in the underbelly entertainment bay, two air-operated cargo roll-outs, a wine cooler in the galley area, a Winegard stationary satellite with digital off air tuner, an electric sleeper sofa, iPhone, iPad docking stations integrated with the Crestron system, eight additional patio lights, and three lithium batteries in lieu of six 4D AGM house batteries.
