MCD Innovations to Show Energy-Saving Systems at the Gillette, WY FMCA Convention

MCD Innovations to highlight energy-saving day/night roller shade systems at FMCA Convention in Gillette, WY

June 5, 2013, McKinney, TX – MCD Innovations, the world’s leading day/night roller shade manufacturer will be in Gillette, WY from June 19-22 for the FMCA 88th Family Reunion & Motorhome Showcase. Company representatives will be on hand to discuss the importance of blocking solar heat and UV rays with products that also provide privacy and light blockage for RV occupants.

“Installing a MCD roller shade system that includes both day and night shades is one simple way RVers can improve the energy efficiency of their coach by reducing air conditioning use during the hot summer months and limiting the use of generators while dry camping, saving both fuel and energy,” said MCD Senior RV Market Manager Travis Townsley.

Company representatives will also demonstrate the revolutionary Dual-Range™ Safety System for interior windshield shades. This feature ensures that the switch-controlled power windshield shades cannot be lowered far enough to block the driver’s view of the road while the ignition key is on.

MCD offers both the deluxe American Duo™ and value-priced GOLD Series shades for most motorcoaches and fifth wheels.

MCD Innovations has been engineering and producing an array of industry-leading sun protection products since 2003 in their state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in McKinney, TX. All MCD products are proudly manufactured in the USA. MCD currently maintains strategic alliances with manufacturers of Class A, B, C, Fifth Wheels, and Travel Trailers across the US and Canada who install MCD shades as Original Equipment including CoachHouse, Coachmen, Dodgen-Born Free, DRV, Dynamax, Era, Excel, Featherlite, Forest River, Foretravel, Heartland, Holiday Rambler, Itasca, Leisure Travel, Lifestyle, Monaco, New Horizons, Newmar, Nexus, Phoenix, Renegade, Show Hauler, Triple E, and Winnebago, among others. MCD also supplies an array of unique energy-saving and merchandising shade products to the residential and commercial markets as well. MCD Shades are found in over 8,000 Dunkin Donuts locations as well as in a number of other nationally-known restaurant chains.

My coach came with MCD's on the windshield, drivers side window and the entrance door. All of the other windows had pleated fabric day/nigh shades. So, 2 years ago I ordered MCD's for my entire coach. At that time, I dealt with Peggy and she was very , very helpful and had my order shipped to the RV park where we were staying in Chula Vista CA. They arrived as promised and the order was complete. It took me about 30 minutes per window to install them and a bit longer for the 5 shades that were motorized. The bedroom shades and the shade in the rear masterbathroom are manual as we rarely raise those shades. The sun shades are absolutely great during the day and at night the privacy shade works far better than any pleated fabric shade. One of the best asthetic upgrades I've done on my coach and,,, I'm not getting paid to write this.

We went to the factory this spring. Plugged in, met Peggy and her husband, stayed a week, had shades put in front to rear, and we love them.
