NAPPANEE, IN -- Newmar Corporation today released the names of its dealers who are being recognized for providing excellent customer service over the past year.

The Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award is presented to dealers who scored in a pre-determined percentile based on results from customer surveys. Thirteen Newmar dealers earned this coveted award by providing excellent customer service to Newmar customers receiving warranty work, the company announced.

The 2011 award winners include:

• Ansley RV in Duncansville, Penn.
• Buddy Gregg Motorhomes in Knoxville, Tenn.
• Coachlight RV Sales Inc. in Carthage, Mo.
• Dave’s RV Center in Danbury, Conn.
• Dick Gore’s RV World in Jacksonville, Fla.
• Guaranty RV Center in Junction City, Ore.
• Independence RV Sales & Service in Winter Garden, Fla.
• Midstate Camper Sales in Black Hawk, S.D.
• Midtown RV LTD in Penticton, B.C.
• Midway Motor Homes Inc. in Grand Rapids, Mich.
• North Trail RV Center in Fort Myers, Fla.
• Professional Sales RV in Colleyville, Texas
• Tom Johnson Camping Center in Marion, N.C.

“Newmar feels this award is important because we value how our mutual customers are treated and that the service experience is a positive one,” said Matt Utley, Newmar’s vice president of service operations. “Newmar is pleased with the customer support provided by our dealer partners. As confirmed by their customers, the dealers earning this award possess a strong commitment of customer satisfaction that permeates through their entire organization. We are proud of their achievements.”

Four dealers this year also earned the Mahlon Miller Service Excellence Award. Miller is the founder of Newmar and the award in his name recognizes those dealerships that most embody the spirit of customer service.

This elite group of winners includes:

• Dave’s RV
• Coachlight RV Sales

It's great to see the dealership that we purchased our motorhome at is on that list. Midway Motor Homes, Inc. Grand Rapids, MI. Good job guys. This is one professional bunch of people that work there. They bent over backwards to accomodate us in every way.

This is no surprise to me that the dealer we purchased from (Daves rv) was in the elite. Purchased in late 2011. Great team. Can't say enough.

Tell me that is not true about Lee's selling out to camper world, PLEASE tell me that is not true. What a shame such a great dealership would take that way to exit the business. All just my opinion but Lee's has had the best service I ever got.

So, I decide to compare the Newmar CSI award winners from 2010 to those listed for 2011.

Of the twelve winners in 2010, the following did NOT win again in 2011:

Lee's Rv-Oklahoma City, OK
Mount Comfort RV-Greenfield,Ind.
RV Superstore- Pahrump, NV

Of the thirteen winners in 2011, the following are "new" for 2011:
Buddy Gregg-Knoxville, TN
Dave's RV-Danbury, CT
Guaranty RV-Junction City, OR
Midstate Camper- Black Hawk, SD
Professional-Colleyville, TX
Tom Johnson-Marion, NC

Congrats to all the dealers who earned the award for 2011.

Also, Coachlight and North Trail are the only two consecutive winners of the M. M. Service Excellence Award, with Dave's and Guaranty replacing Independence and Ansley from last year's list.

For all those past winners who did not win again, better luck next time...but I doubt "luck" has much to do with winning this particular award.

I thought North Trail was great until I caught Rob Sanders lying to me, and found out that the service guys (at least at the chassis shop) are on commision.
You won't see me or my Essex around there again.
