RV Education 101 Tops 2 Million YouTube Views

RV Daily Report

HARRELLS, N.C. -- With 123 videos posted on its You Tube Channel, and nearly 4,500 subscribers, RV Education 101 announced today it recently surpassed 2 million video views.

“I can vaguely remember making the decision to post some free informative RV how-to videos on our website back in 2006. By the end of 2007 we were averaging about 6,000 video views a month from our site and I remember thinking that was big numbers," said co-owner Mark Polk. "In a continuing effort to make the learning process easier for RV consumers we uploaded our first video on our RV Education 101 You Tube channel Jan. 10, 2008. Now, five and a half years later, we are averaging 30,300 video views per month.”

RV Education 101 uses You Tube to promote short educational videos, RV product videos and RV how-to installation videos.

“Our success with You Tube prompted me to start our RV101.tv site in February 2012, where we are averaging over 8,000 video views per month. We started in the RV video business in 1999 and watched it evolve from VHS to DVD to streamed video and video downloads," he added. "We are excited to see where it goes in the next decade.”
