RV Manufacturers Showcase MCD Shades
in Display Models at RVIA

McKinney, TX – The American Duo™ Shade System manufactured by MCD Innovations was a featured item in many of the 2012 and 2013 recreational vehicles (RVs) displayed at the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) National RV Trade Show, Nov. 29 – Dec. 1, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY. RVIA is the national trade association representing recreation vehicle manufacturers and their component parts suppliers who together build more than 98 percent of all RVs produced in the U.S.

The shades were prominently shown on Class A, Class B, Class C and fifth wheel recreational vehicles. Winnebago, Holiday Rambler, Newmar, Monaco, SportsCoach/Coachmen, Itasca, Peterson/Excel, Thor, Fleetwood, Born Free, DRV Luxury Suites, and Dynamax are just some of the brands that featured MCD shades in their new models.

“This industry-leading shade system has been embraced by the RV industry as the new standard for window coverings and solar protection,” said Dave Townsley, CEO of MCD Innovations. With corporate and manufacturing headquarters in McKinney, TX, the company is proud of its American heritage, using American-made components, materials and labor to produce a quality shade that has revolutionized the way manufacturers and consumers look at window treatments for RVs. MCD shades may also be custom-made for consumers wishing to renovate their RVs, whether it be a Class A, Class B, Class C, Fifth Wheel, or Travel Trailer.

Below are photos from the RVIA Show in Louisville of some of the manufacturers who featured MCD shade systems.

MCD Innovations has been engineering and producing an array of industry-leading sun protection products since 2003. The Company supplies a wide range of innovative products to numerous RV OEMs as well as an ever-growing number of Dealers and RV owners throughout the USA and Canada. MCD also supplies an array of unique energy-saving and merchandising shade products to the residential and commercial markets. For example, MCD Shades are found in over 8,000 Dunkin Donuts locations as well as in a number of other nationally-known restaurant chains.

It's great to see a high-quality, Made In America product being installed in RV's by the manufacturers. Contratulations to MCD Innovations! I know I, for one, sure like the Duo's we've put in our Bounder. They beat the pants off the sad accordian & metal blinds that came with it.
