Thanks Mike!

I don't use Facebook, but the video played for me.

Too bad there's no mention of the Extol or Revel chassis on this or any of the videos on that album:

Thanks for the link, I was the quality manager at a SW Michigan metal stamping plant that supplied Spartan with many of the chassis metal stampings. I think we were the major supplier of the cross members, gussets and pretty much all bolt on brackets. I was employed there from 1995-2004, then we moved to FL. Our company made great quality strides (ISO/QS 9000) during that time with the help of the entire management team. I made a trip over to the frame assembly plant to learn about their process and the application of our production parts. The video brought back memories.

I KNOW ! Isn't that something? I'm going to assume that either PSI was not able to certify the engine for street use, the chassis was going to be a lot more money than a Ford or Spartan shelved putting additional R&D money into a gasoline product. The market has not recovered all that much where OEMs are going to shell out a lot more money for a chassis. You can have the best product since sliced bread but if nobody is buying .....

I am surprised that they were not able to deliver a Revel to the Commercial market since that would use a 5.0L engine or smaller diesel. Who knows?

One of my favorite technologies on the Spartan Chassis is the Hendrickson Torque Box over the top of the front rear axle.
