Good Sam's annual rally referred to as ”The Rally” pulled in 3,112 RV's at Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque, N.M. between April 16 to April 20. That attendance number was off from last year's by about 10% from the event held in in Perry, Ga. in March 2008.

Next year's rally will be held July 22 to July 25 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky. which is the same location that the 2003 Good Sam National Rally was held.

Personally, I prefer the ones in the Southeast.

Good for you but there are many owners up north - north west - who would like to go as well but find it too far to travel to the south east. Why be selfish? Alternate every second year like they use to.

Selfish? I'm no more selfish for wanting them in the southeast than a Canadian wanting them in the northwest.

I just like the ones in the Southeast, that's my preference. How does that make me selfish? They still alternate them as far as I know, have you heard something to the contrary?

I went to the ones held in Perry, GA in '07, Daytona Beach, FL in '06, Loiusville, KY in '03, and Perry,GA in 01.

They got as far north west as New Mexico this year and it was in the spring. I thought they were going to alternate between the south east and the north west or north central. I group of us were looking forward to going to Oregon again.
