WINNEBAGO INDUSTRIES RECEIVES SAFETY AWARD

FOREST CITY, IA, May 5, 2009 – Winnebago Industries, Inc. (NYSE: WGO) received a safety award from the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council during their 56th Professional Development Conference and Expo held in Coralville, Iowa, April 22-24.

The award was presented for outstanding achievement in accident prevention during the 2008 calendar year. Winnebago Industries was one of 159 businesses, industries and government agencies in Iowa and Illinois to receive an award for promoting active safety programs and reducing Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recordable injuries among their employees.
