As much as we loved our 30B there were modifications. The heater would not cycle well. That is the temps would go way up before shutting off and then way down before beginning. I believe it was about a 20 degree swing. The thermostat was mounted recessed in the wall in the hall. I removed it by unplugging it and then moved it directly around the corner at the same level. So now it was in the living area and not recessed. It worked perfect there.

One other mod I remember was installing a check valve in the hot water or cold water line for the shower. When the head was cycled on and off it either scalded or froze. I do not remember which. There was access from the bedroom wall so a simple ball check valve was installed in one of the lines. No more problems.

You're gonna love it!

We had an '05. We took it across country with five adults and poodle and a Rottweiler. After a couple of years of no issues just general maint we traded up (or so I thought). I hope you enjoy your's as much as we did ours... We also spend every Thanksgiving at the Huntington Beach State Park. Enjoy...
