'06 Damon Astoria Pacific Edition

New guy here, we will be picking this up on Thursday. 2006 Damon Astoria Pacific Edition 37' fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. We've wanted one for years but we actually got pushed into it kind of early due to my job. Can't do the massive commute anymore so i'll be living in this four nights a week ten minutes from work and also for vacations/camping. We're avid boaters so it should work out well. Picked it up for a steal and it's in real nice shape. Glad to be here and hope to learn alot from all the experienced RVers.

Congrats on the new rig! Lots better than a questionable hotel room! And makes the required twice weekly commute much more comfortable.

Thanks! It's got the 300-hp Cummins ISB with an Allison MH-2000 5-speed trans. Pulls really good, steep hills don't bother it at all.

Really nice looking rig. I am sure your stress level will go down not having to make that commute!! However the rigs are so much fun to drive. I know you can't wait for tour first vacation.

Spectacular Rig!
I am trying to get to the point where I can semi-full time in my class C, so good choice there, forget hotels, you have all you need and then some!

Funny thing, I saw a Damon Astoria, and it was a Pcific Edition!! today, on the way south on Hwy 41 just south of Oshkosh, WI, with a toad, and when I got in front, I could see a large TV in the rear, couldnt tell what was playing but it was a large TV. Nice being able to watch TV driving down the road, thats one reason we bought our RV, getting there is more than half the fuin!

Enjoy!
Andrew

Great looking RV! I like your style, about not staying in hotels. I haven't stayed in a hotel/motel or flown in an airplane, for five years, since I bought my Fleetwood.
