1st RV
We picked up our 2018 Forest River Forester 3271s three weeks ago and have been busy making it “ours” before our first trip in two weeks. My wife has been retired for a couple years and I just retired. I want to travel. She is happy to stay home with our cat. The motor home seemed to be the perfect solution for all three of us. We are converting the bunk area to a sewing area for my wife’s quilting hobby. I’ve installed a litter area in the storage area under our bed.

2nd RV
Well we made our first trip in an RV FROM WNY to FL. Before we left Florida we knew we had made a mistake. The class C was not for us. It was just too small and felt confining. On the way home I learned another lesson about buying new, you lose a lot just driving away from the dealer.
But at least we are happy now. We found a 2014 Newmar Canyon Star 3940 and it is ours. My wife gave up her sewing room since she couldn't sew while we were on the road. We gained a king size bed, a lot of room every where, and a level of comfort that is like home.
Congrats....two lessons learned in one trip. But both cost lots of money.
For most MH purchases you lose 30% or so of value paid by the time the rear wheels leave the dealers parking lot.
Most first time MH purchases are not the last MH purchase. Many try a used vehicle first with the knowledge that it is not the "forever" unit.
Saying that we did buy a new class C as our first MH and after 3 extended trips (3-4 months each) we also realized we needed bigger. Fortunately we got a steal on the original purchase and in fact sold it when it was 18 months old for 1K less than what we paid for it. So VERY lucky
Good luck on your new coach. You will love this one!!!!!

Thanks for the kind words. I’m sure we could have gotten more for the class C had we sold it ourselves, but I don’t think the Newmar would have waited. And my driveway is not big enough for both
