2003 Bounder 35R purchase

We area quite excited. Only 15,000 miles on the rig. Original everything, including tires. New Michelins going on next spring. This is our first MH, having sold our truck and fifth wheel.
Replacing the carpet, which lost its original colour while in storage. We will be towing a GMC Terrain. We won't be taking it out until the end of winter, so next April will be a very exciting month.

We are going to replace our carpet to. It's out with the carpet completely and in with the tile or something other than carpet. Carpet is to high maintenance with grand-kids running in and out, and the DW would rather sweep and mop instead of shampooing. Congrat's on your rig, everyone loves PIC's. Jim

Congrats! We also recently bought a 2003 class A with low miles and most everything original. However even though the tires looked better than the carpet, we replaced the tires.

Excitement builds

Thank you all for your warm remarks. Photos to follow, but probably not until springtime. Once the carpet is in, it will be going into winter storage.
We are installing new carpet, tires and batteries. Next spring, Shine On will be applied!

So you're saying white carpets are out? They won't fade! New tires, new floors, new adventures, the ability to use the head without stopping if you aren't behind the wheel. Life is sweet.

Fifth wheels and trailers were our mode of travel for many years, Now that we wish to take more time, more stops along the way, a motorhome seemed the appropriate choice.
