2006 Royal Villa King of the Road 37 REQS

Traded off the Larado and moved up into a 06 KOTR Royal Villa, 37 REQS with slide out patio. Put in new W/D, had 3 holding tanks with built in Black water rinse, King Bed, Fantastic Fan, Fireplace, Automatic awning, Celing Fan, French sliding doors, vacuum system. We gave it a two week shakedown and very impressed with how it handled. One neighbor lady at our CG came over told her husband "It's a Triple Axle!" So we sat out having some brewskys at their place and that was the joke of the night we laughed how amazed she was at seeing a triple axle. I guess some live a sheltered life huh.....Click image for larger version

Love those KOTR's and would love to have one. But those suckers are heavy and it was too much load for our old 2002 F350 dually.

Towing the KOTR

My 7.3 Diesel does just fine towing it.
I now have about 1000 miles towing, 1st time was going to SD and had 30-40 mph head winds the whole way. It was 55-60 mph and a few times 65 but what a work out that day.

On days where there is no wind or even 15-20 mph variable winds it pulls like a dream.

If I have a tail wind you can fly down the road with this unit.

I told the DW that our trips when going real long distance when we FT will be planned around weather conditions. I am not fighting 40 mph winds again!
