I bit the bullet and purchased a new to me National RV Tradewinds 40D. The coach is one owner with 7,200 miles. Included in the sale was an Easy Care 4 year/48,000 mile Total Care extended warranty. The coach rides on a Freightliner XC chassis and is powered by a 400 Cummins ISL.

This is my first Class A diesel. For the past three years I've had a 2010 Open Range fifth wheel (which I absolutely loved) so I'm excited to try motor coaching!

Great looking coach, I'm sure you will like it as much or more than your 5er. Have many enjoyable outings.

I had a 06 40 D for over a year and 14,000 miles. If you have questions, give me a yell. It is a great unit and a very big 40 ft unit. I loved mine. Enjoy your ride!

Congrads. Beautiful coach, I have a 2006 Tradewinds 40F and love it. Same chassis and engine. Over 10,000 miles since I got it last December, no problems with the drive train, used no oil between changes. Extened warranty replaced 2 slide motors, repaired generator and is in the process of replacing the NoCold fridge with a household fridge. Any questions feel free. Currently in Florida keys and had the cooling unit go out on this JUNK Norcold fridge. Going to replace with a residential fridge.

One thing, we did get very warm in hot weather while driving due to not enough cooling power of the basement air . It is 24,000 btu. We added a small portable AC to help the issue. But boy, did I like how quite that AC was while watching TV.
