2013 Winnebago 35G

Hi All, finally took some pics of our new 35G.
We saw a 14' Itasca 34T Solei at a local dealer and fell in love with the large U shaped sofa. Our last coach was an 05 Monaco Knight 38' triple slide and we wanted to go a little smaller and less money.
So after a lot of research we finally located a floor plan with the U sofa in a gas engine RV. The Itasca and Winnie 35G were the only floor plans that seemed to work.
Luckily (or unluckily) McMahons in Calif had two 2013 new units online.
By the time we were able to go see them they only had one left.
Fortunately it had the color combo we wanted and paid them the asking price of $119K
The sales and delivery process was not well executed but that is a story for another day.
We really love the layout, the large TV at eye level, good sized kitchen counter, double door fridge and KING bed. It has almost everything we wanted and seemed like a good compromise. Basement storage is not gigantic but very adequate.
The sofa is the most comfortable we have had in any of the 4 previous RVs we have owned. And I can stretch out fully on it and watch TV or take a nap. That is a first for me.
There are some issues to be fixed and we have an appointment in a couple of weeks to get those taken care of.
Anyway here's the pics.

more pics

here's a few more.

Really liked the large, long and deep kitchen and bedroom drawers.
Closet space is limited due to the washer/dryer combo in the back corner of the bedroom. If it turns out we wont be using them we will pull them out and convert that into a closet.
At this time we will only be vacationing with this RV up to 4 weeks in a stretch.
The King bed has to recline in order for the bedroom slide to close. This is actually a nice feature if you like to read in bed. Space is limited in the bedroom when the bed is layed flat but still enough room to walk around.
The adjustable air bed has proven to be very comfortable. Don't remember what brand it is right now.
We don't love the split bath but that is how it goes. We got so much of what we wanted that we were willing to accept it.
Overall very satisfied with layout and construction.

Definitely a different layout. Cool concept for the table. I like the corner TV/fireplace. Seems you got lucky with McMahans, what a mess for a lot of people... Enjoy!

Thanks UncleBilly, luckily for us we did not trade anything in. I checked with DMV and they have paid all DMV fees but have not yet sent in paperwork. I called the extended warranty company and at first they did not have a record of my purchase of the warranty.
A couple of days later I got a returned call and they now have the paperwork and payment so we are good to go on that.

Feeling pretty lucky with that.

It would be nice to have current registration and plates.
