2014 Thor Palazzo 33.3

We recently made the leap from our "trial" RV, which was a 2011 Itasca Impulse Silver 31JP, to a diesel pusher. The Itasca was our first RV and, like the new one, was a bunk model. We really loved traveling in the RV with the kids but wanted to address a couple of limitations inherent with a front engine gasser. After a long search, we landed on the 2014 Thor Palazzo 33.3. We are immensely enjoying the extra space, better mileage (last trip, 13.1 mpg), better towing capacity and a much quieter ride (engine in the back, air suspension). The Class A feels so much bigger even though it is only 3 feet longer due to the efficient floor plan and no more screaming motor climbing up hills

My wife jokes that we have more TVs in the RV (6 - two in the bunks, one in the hallway by bunks, bedroom, living area and outside) than we do in the house!

Thanks, everyone. We are really enjoying the new rig and have now broken it in on a couple of longer trips. Kids really like the layout and extra space around the bunks.

There is a Thor Palazzo site here with MANY Palazzo owners giving their thoughts and advice...well worth looking at.
