2016 Ford F350 DRW

My wife and I are wanting to travel more while we are young (early 40's) and the '09 F350 SRW was slightly overloaded with the Mobile Suites. We searched for a used '11-'13 dually without much success. Had one located that was a '14 in Denver, Our dealer agreed to get it, Denver said we could have it, then reniged, saying they had a buyer. A couple weeks later they contacted my dealer saying we could have it, but they needed an answer ASAP. We agreed to take the truck, as our efforts to find another were coming up short. My dealer called to tell them we would take the truck, only to be told they sold it the night before! Now we are all upset, so we started pricing a new one. Our dealer found a truck equipped like we wanted 225 miles to the east. With all the current rebates and Ford loyalty cash, we were into a new one for $5,600 over the used '14. We also would have needed to add the factory hitch package to the '14, so actually we closed the price gap a little further. My father and daughter went and brought it back home. Once we had it back, I added all the accessories. I hooked it to the DRV today so I could make any adjustments to the B&W hitch before we start camping. Had it adjusted right on the first shot, and decided to take it for a test run. I'm really happy with our decision to go new. The truck handles the coach well and is going to be a pleasure to drive.

Nice! We just got our F350 right before Memorial Day, but ours isn't the Lariat package. But it sure does tow our FW just fine. Congrats.

My 2011 F-450 Owners' Manual said to put a few miles on before towing. Don't recall the exact number-maybe 500?
