Very nice coach; enjoy it. I assume you are familiar with the Beaver Ambassador Club The BAC forum was a wealth of information when we started with ours three years ago. Since our coaches are very similar, feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Here's a link to a 2000 advertising brochure for the Patriot and Thunder models. I think the 2001 was very similar: http://weisstravels.com/resources/2000+Patriot.pdf

Your driving station looks more like an extension of the living room! I can't imagine how comfortable those 12 hour drives were. Getting used to the size would be challenging, but after that smooth sailing!

It was a comfortable drive even at 12 hours.

No getting used to this one aside from coach amenities. This is our 3rd 40' coach.

Yes, a couple of issues.

Firstly, I forgot to include the new tires on the coach in my declaration which apparently raised an eyebrow and when they saw what I paid for the coach and checked what it's worth on line, they didn't believe that I was declaring the right amount for the coach and the tax payable. The best price they could find on my coach was $30,000 more than I bought it for. I told them I negotiated a good deal!

I apologized about the tires but pointed out that the receipt for them was in the paperwork give them. Then I had to show them all my emails of the money trail beginning with price negotiations and money transfers. After about an hour and a half they signed me off and let me through.

Sounds like a hassle, Les. Of course the upside is that it sounds like it would be next to impossible for someone to steal a coach and drive it across the border!
