Angry Acceleration problems in 2000 dutch star

Our 2000 Dutch Star with a 330 cummins engine has developed an acceleration problem. When we are stopped and press down on the accelerator nothing happens for 5 seconds then we will gradually gain speed and it will work normally. Then at the next stop light the same thing happens. Just had service done at a cummins dealer the transmission serviced, fuel filters and air filter changed and their computer readings said everything was ok. Now this happens. Any ideas?

Is the engine revving when you press down on the accelerator or does it seem like its slipping in the transmission? More info needed. I'm sure someone will offer more advice and welcome to IRV2!
