Thanks for the advice Lance and Aaron. We are in Florida. We have been to Dock Gore in Jacksonville they made an attractive offer on a Forest River Sunseeker 3010. The floor plan is similar to the 300DS. I still like the look of the Concord.

We have also had more than one conversation about going to Texas.

We looked at the Concord at Dick Gore's. We are not interested in something that old and the wife really likes the new floor plan. Hate to sound so picky being rookies but have looked at a ton of floor plans.

Nothing wrong with being picky. This is a substantial amount of money that you are going to be spending, spend it on what YOU want. We looked at a couple of Sunseekers but my wife wanted the Concord. The bed over the cab is a total waste of space for us, won't ever get used. That had a lot of bearing on wanting a B+ vs a C. I don't know if you have used RV Trader, but they are showing a couple of Concords at a dealer in Byron GA which is north of Atlanta.

We shopped for a year before finally deciding what we wanted and I'm glad we did. There are always going to be compromises to make, you just have to decide which are more important to you. My wife didn't like the feel like she was sitting in a cave or looking out a tunnel in the Class Cs with the over head bunk that we didn't need either, plus the B+ is much more aerodynamic because of this. For me, wanting to tow a pretty heavy trailer as well I was wanting as light of a rig as I could get with still all the same amenities inside.

Do not discount the rear window option of the 300DS, it isn't imperative...but is sure is nice to be able to see straight out the back of an RV. I LOVE mine.

We initially thought that we'd like a 300TS more because the dinette was across from the couch, not on the same side. The wife thought that would make having conversation with company easier but after actually sitting in both side by side for a while in Alvarado...we decided the HUGE countertop in the 300DS was a better fit for us.

My wife loves the large amount of counter space. One of the selling points on the 300DS for us was the length of the dinette bed. I is around 6'-4". My wife also prefers the U-dinette for some reason. The back window is a plus, I put the shade up while driving. We have been looking at Class B+and C's and the occasional A for about 3 years, we honestly had not planned to buy before 2017 but this was too good a deal for us to pass up.

I am in total agreement with you about the bed being over the cab. It would be a total waste of space for us as well. That is why we are looking at the 300DS and other B+'s. The dealer gave a great price for the Sunseeker that included the entertainment center option in the cab over the bed. It would not be a bed, it would be the 42" TV. But it would still be Class C on the outside.
Thank you again for you help. I live on RVTrader these days and have already spoken to the dealership in Byron, GA

The search continues. .....
