at last

Well at last we have our new ( to us) motorhome, Tiffin Allegro bus and we love it ! The paperwork was a nightmare but the orientation from Lew at the dealers was great, he worked at our speed, didn't talk down to us when we didn't understand something and boy did he know his stuff.
Hazel took a few notes but I was so far up on cloud nine most of it went in one ear and out of the other !

We only had to drive for about 3 miles to an RV "resort" where we are staying until I have double checked everything ( and then checked again!) then we will set off from Fort Myers to, who knows where.

We have waited and planned a long time for this and it's just as good as we thought it would be.

We bought a 2005 40QDP, 4 slides with the Cummings ISL. I have read the user manual but it's not as much help as I need so the good members here will be getting a few post from me very soon.

Thanks,

Richard.

Today Fort Myers, tomorrow ?

Hey guys,

We are in Fort Myers at Cypress Woods. We've lived in our coach full time for 6 years now. We don't live in a Tiffin but many systems are the same. If we can be of any help just give a shout.

Good luck & safe travels.

Congratulations on your new Bus. That is one fine MH.

We plan on using our video camera to record our entire walk through next Thursday. I have found as I get a little more experienced (older) I do not remember some of the stuff I should. The video should help.

Our dealer has hookups on site so we will be staying 1 or 2 nights to ensure we know everything we need to know before leaving for home.

Congrats, getting older, Ha, if you don't have your name somewhere on your shirt or forehead I will not remember the name 3 minutes after you tell me. However ask me how to make a problem go away on a military turbojet engine and I can tell you how to resolve the problem with no hesitation! Must be different parts of the brain age faster...LOL

Happy Trails, get it all fixed before you leave the dealer's place.
