Encounter Owner

Good morning, My husband has been on this site for awhile now but I am brand new at reading it. I am having lots of fun discovering everything I read here! Just wondering if there are any other Encounter owners out there? I never see anything posted about our RV.

Congrats on your new rig! Had one for 4 years prior to just getting our new one. You can find some other owners here:

Congratulations! Definitely check out the owners site at that above link. Not too active, but some great folks on there.

We have an Encounter TZ. This is our 4th RV. We have not had any issues with the unit. Bought it new. My reading on the Encounter after looking
other brands is that they were under priced to get into the market place.
Workmanship is simply awesome. All hardwood cabinets, deluxe flooring.
The edging on the flooring and ceiling is perfect fitting.

The under compartments are really well designed, well lit and the doors fit perfectly. Driving the unit with the larger tires makes handling a dream even in the mountains. Unit is very quite on the road with no wind noise.

The orginal mattress, a queen we gave away right away and purchased
a pillow top deluxe mattress from a high end mattress manufacturer that we know. Its better than our home mattress so we are very comfortable.

The new Coachman company has come a long way since its new ownership.
