Finally bought our RV! 2006 Fleetwood Southwind 32VS
Been on this forum site for a little while, read a lot of your posts, asked several questions and got lots of good advice from everyone here. (Thank you!)
After months of research and looking, we found a 2006 Southwind 32VS (Workhorse W22 chassis) for a very good price that needed a little love, (aka money for maintenance and repairs). It is juuuuuuust big enough for our family of 5, but was still small enough to be a good first RV to learn on and get into some of the smaller parks etc. Our plan is to make a quick 5-week lap of the country this summer. Took it out last weekend to a local campground with full hookups for a quick shakedown. Sanitized the fresh water system, now we are just working on getting it ready for the journey, and organizing the storage systems like we want it. We are all excited to get it on the road!
