Finally showing of our new rig (2015 Newmar Ventana 3636 - VTDP)

After taking factory delivery (in Nappanee, Indiana) the week of August 10, we set out on or maiden voyage. Since we had very little (read that "ancient") experience with RV's (about 30+ years ago), and literally no provisions (food, bedding, etc) the first priority was to take care of these items. Thereafter, we just drove and enjoyed the views. Our first trip lasted 7weeks, we explored 8 USA states, and 4 Canadian provinces. We logged over 5,200 miles. We were Having A Blast !!

Because I know that the mantra here on iRV2 is "it didn't happen if there are no pictures)...

Here is a pic of our coach at Tunnel Mountain in Banff.

I chose a small sized pic....if this doesn't work...I will follow up with the next largest size.

Nice!

I know I'm biased, but I REALLY love the lines of the Ventana. The way the front cap curves back. It makes most other DP's look like rolling bricks.

Congratulations! That is a beautiful coach. That's one heck of a maiden voyage. I look forward to the day we can stay gone that long.

Thank you. DW and I both retired on Aug 06. On Aug 10 we picked up our coach. It was and is a long term dream come true.

Hang in there. Your day will come.
