First night out, so far, so good!

Left work at noon today, headed home, finished loading the trailer (in pouring rain) and drove about 45 miles down to a private CG/marina at the lake where we keep our boat in the summer. Pleasantly surprised at how well the drive went, though I could have done without the torrential downpour that we ran into at one point.

Parking was a bit tricky until someone told me the street was 2 way, not one way like I thought. Got backed in, set things up, and DW made thai shrimp over rice for dinner. We're now enjoying a rainy evening watching PBS on the tube. Way better than sitting in a damp tent!

Tomorrow we'll be bottling wine with a bunch of friends, then back to the TT for another cozy night.

First night out!....glad it went well....especially the food. Somehow it seems that food just tastes better when RVing and camping. Enjoy!
