Got it back to Alabama
Picked up our Phaeton last week and was just overwhelmed at how nice it really is. Had a "fun" trip back to Alabama with it. Ran into some rain on the way back and behind the rain, wind. I never realized that I would be driving a 13ft by 37ft sail when there's a strong crosswind. It really drives differently than a 5th wheel or TT. Also, found out that motorhome front heat units dont quite cut it in 30 degree temps. Had to cut on the furnace to help keep warm. By the end of the 13 hour trip, I was feeling pretty good about driving it, at least on the highways. The driving course at Lazy Days was a big help. We are already loving it and anxious to take our next trip.

Scott, Great looking setup. Driving a sail? I always thought driving a billboard. Probably the same feeling in wind. Enjoy and safe travels...John

Congrads on a beautiful coach, Love seeing your wife in the driver seat. Wish my wife would drive more.

That's my wife in our driving course. She actually drove on the Interstate a couple of hours. Ended up raining on her most of the time but she did great! Going to give her a little more experience each trip until we can truly tag team.

I don't think mine can reach the pedals.
