We're really digging her so far....

....except at the fuel stations, of course.

This is our first Class A, and will most likely have a lot of questions. That being said, where can I buy a coolant reservoir tank for a GM 454 ?

Thanks in advance !

By the way, I am so, SO glad that she fits in our backyard....barely. There was only 3 to 4 inches of clearance on both sides (a fence on the left and the roof gutter of the house on the right), but once I drove her in, there was a big collective sigh of relief from both me and my g/f.

I did, however, had to remove the driver's side-view mirror. Perhaps I will have the courage to cut the roof of the house to make her properly fit in the future.

But to save $45/month in storage fees and having her just outside our backyard sliding door, I'll gladly remove and install the mirror countless times.

You should be able to purchase a coolant tank at any GM dealer if you want to purchase it locally. It might be cheaper at this site though.

Congrats on your new coach.

I agree with taking the mirror off for $45. a month and being able to have it home with you.

Congrats on your new coach.

Thanks !

I having a hard time navigating around your site for that coolant tank.

Our Flair must be equivalent to some GM pickup or SUV, and I can't seem to figure it out.

Anyway, I was wondering if you can help me out. Thanks in advance....

Do you need a make/year specific tank? I'd go 'shopping' at my local salvage yard for something I could fit into the space I had and go from there. There's nothing proprietory about a basic coolant tank, they all work based on the same principle.

John, there is NO chance of removing the fence unless:

(1) My cool neighbor would get really, REALLY angry at me, and

(2) Doing so would let numerous coyotes into his yard and eat his little West Highland Terrier, which would lead to reason (1).

So, the only solution is to cut the roof overhang of the garage....or remove the mirrors.

Yes, you are right about that, after surfing for it last night.

I just need something that'll fit the same holes. I might just take mine off and take your advice by going around those salvage yards.
