Thor came from the failures of Damon and Four Winds so I know it's not the high end but a 2000 Country Coach that I wanted had too many issues and the price was too high for what I had to put in it to be right for me. It had 68,000 miles and two slides and was in excellent shape for years.

Just to add a positive note to a new motorhome purchase. We bought a 2012 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 30SFS - not long ago. A couple of camping trips later - no issues or problems -

We returned to the dealer for just a couple of minor adjustments. One of the slide rails needed an adjustment which took the mechanic all of 5 minutes and several of the interior drawers kept opening during travel, which was more of a nusiance than anything else. We waited while everything was fixed to our satisfaction. Great dealer; we were taken care of in about an hour. Other than those minor issues everything works great! Knock on wood !

We've also had several calls from Monaco asking how we like the coach. It's been great follow-up.

4Fun, That's great to hear about the Holiday. That is one of the lines my DW and I seem to keep coming back to. It is also one of, if only one, of the lines we are considering if we would go new. They just seem to have incredible amount of standard equipment and not to expensive options that really gives you a big bang for the cherished buck.

Thanks, vincee. The 2012 line was improved from the 2011's. I believe the Admiral was dropped so the Vacationer is really the Admiral. The leather on the sofa and front cab seating is much nicer than in the 2011. Very comfortable seats. Huge amount of inside storage on this model. More storage than on longer coaches. We have the Waterford interior and it is smartly done. As you say, lots of standard equipment.
