Up until this week we owned a Class B Roadtrek. WE sold it and bought a 30ft 1990 Barth Breakaway. I was amazed at the sturdiness and quality built into that vehicle. For people who don't know about Barth, they have an aluminium skin hand-riveted to an aluminium frame. Our has ceramic flooring, hardwood cabinets, a 7000 watts propane generator, satellite dish, air suspension, and a Cummings diesel engine coupled to an Allison transmission. The ride is unbelievable ( at least for somebody moving from a class B .
Here are some pictures:

Hello Real and Maggie

Congrats on the Barth. Several of our members own Barth's and based on some of their posted comments, have been very pleased with them.

Also, welcome to iRV2, noticed this was your first post here.

Real and Maggie,

Some people have to have brand new cars, new construction homes, and new RVs. Other people are just as satisfied with dependable used cars, pre-owned homes, and vintage RVs, but for reasons different than the "new" folks.

Barth has a real good reputation for building structually sound motor coaches. The fact that you found this 16-year-old coach in the condition is testament to Barth. This is a coach that you could most likely keep the rest of your lives.

Welcome to iRV2!

George
