Joining the fun

Been lurking around reading a lot of good information. Finally decided to purchase a coach. Maybe just a starter, may keep it a long time as it has what we think we need. Have owned pop ups, hybrids and travel trailers but this is first class a. Goes out for it's inaugural trip on Saturday. Looking forward to some long explorations. 2011 Thor Hurricane 30q

Congrats on your new coach. The nice thing about used is the lesser dollars invested. Depreciation is already done for the most part. This gives you the opportunity of learning this lifestyle and looking at many coaches which will then give you ideas on upgrades.

Thanks one and all for the kind words. We looked at many coaches at the RV shows and one can be overwhelmed with the possibilities, and the cost. In the end decided used, simpler and less expensive was the place to start. Also wanted to stay under 35 feet. As I get used to driving it may be more comfortable with longer coach.Did have a couple of must haves: power leveling jacks and awning and boss wanted an oven. After some trips may discover things we feel are important.
