Congratulations !! We picked up our 1998 Dutch Star last month. We've travelled around 2,500 miles and spent 3 weeks in it so far. Great choice. You're gonna love it.

UH OH, looks like the previous owner left their FMCA "egg" on it! Now you need to join and get your own!

Congratulations!

Uh.... actually Newmar doesn't even list the Dutch Star in their "Luxury Motorhomes" section. That starts with a Mountain Aire, then Essex, then King Aire (at over $800,000).

EydieG, welcome to the forum from a fellow DutchStar owner and neighbor. We have a 2000 DS 3865 and live just up the road in Macon. We've camped and traveled for years in various types of campers, but we're really, really enjoying the motorhome world for the last couple of years. Congratulations on your purchase.

Congratulations and welcome to the Newmar family. We have somewhat similar units. Never wipe that grin off your face and enjoy. Pictures please. We will be at the Newmar plant this Nov 5-? and then south for 6mo. 55,000mi and still going strong with everything working. Added a 2k psw inverter that power cord plugs into, an edgestar frig/freez in the basement slide, and 2 flat screen replacemnts.
Happy Trails

well where I come from, if a Motorhome is over $200k....it's pretty fancy haha. That said, I've been in King Aires, and London Aires (of the 2000s), so I know what separates them all.
