Maiden Voyage

This has been quite an ordeal to get to this point. We flew to Knoxville from Boston a month ago and spent the day going through the coach finding 40 items we wanted to be fixed, making the financial commitment and getting the paperwork done. Then, Buddy Gregg went to work to go through the coach on their own and found another 20 items, some of them big. The reviewed the past problems Thor had with the Schwinntec slides and added the fix that Thor recommends.

Then we flew back (one way) a month later and spent 3 days in our new coach on Buddy Gregg's campground, found another 20 items. They had 5 techs on our coach getting us ready to leave. We drove off their lot on Tuesday morning,

DW modeling the new coach at our 1st stop at Natural Bridges VA KOA. The weather was beautiful and the campground was very easy to find. Now it's our 3rd day on the road and we have had a few new minor problems pop up, nothing big. We are very happy with the coach but it took a massive effort to catch and repair over 100 different problems. While I am surprised Thor would let these problems slip thorough, it seems par for the course to others who've been through the new coach experience.

I am sure there's more to come in terms of issues but I hope we are past most of them.

Thanks to everyone on this forum who has contributed, many of the problems we found were a result of the hardship you yourself experienced which I learned from making this process easier.

I can't say enough about how incredible Buddy Gregg was about getting our coach ready, I would happily buy my next coach there as well

The floor plan, the 2nd bathroom, the king size bed. That was what sold this MH for me and DH. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for. So far.... other than 2 small problems, we are trouble free after 5 days and about 800 miles of travel. Even the leak under the sink is small and we know it's coming from the second sink, so we are avoiding using it for now.

The 8 ceiling lights being out are inconvenient but no big deal, we can certainly live with this and it's probably an easy fix.

Let this be the most that ever goes wrong with this rig! (yeah right!)

Enjoying a rainy weekend in Saugerties NY KOA getting ready for the final leg home.

Very nice looking coach. Glad you had the time to get most of the bugs worked out and worked on. That is part of the fun of RV'ing.

Holy Cow...100 problems!

Seems like a LOT for a new rig.

I'd be curious to see the list.
