What kind of mileage should I expect without a TOAD traveling in a variety of terrains? I was hoping for 10 mpg. Can you recommend a good TOAD vehicle. I'll be in the market for a new (used) car and I figured I might as well look at a TOAD now, versus down the road when I'm traveling 3 to 4 months per year.
I doubt you will see a change with or without. Most diesels are wasting power waiting on something to tow

Thanks, everything I've read about the 3126 talks about the good reliability and how it has been a workhorse of the CAT lineup. I usually put my cruise on 60 mph and enjoy everything going by. One thing I'm never going to be is in "a hurry". I won't be hitting the road for any length of time for another couple of years.
