My First RV...2000 Holiday Rambler Endeavor..36 Ft

This is our first time with an RV..chose a used one to see how we do moving forward...We ride our Harleys all over the US but my Wife had a kidney Transplant this past summer and cannot ride as far as she use to...We chose a used 2000 Holiday Rambler from Mellott Brothers in Lancaster PA...2 slides...V10...48,000 miles..one owner..

Have a few cosmetic touches to do on the outside but its a great start..

Paid $26,500 for it...any comments?

Welcome to the forum. Looks like your new rig is in nice shape. Hope you have wonderful experiences. Will you be towing the bikes on a trailer? Be nice to get somewhere and see the sights on a bike.

More Motorcycle long distance trips

Yes we will be pulling a 7 x 16 inclosed trailer behind our RV to allow them to keep clean till we get there...we thought about an aluminum open trailer for weight...but then we thought if we stop at say a Wal Mart..who knows who will screw with our bikes..

Color and name

To be honest we have names for both Harleys but not the motorhome...with all that has happened these past 2 years for my wife...heart operations..and then a kidney transplant from her best friend...this has been a big step for us...

We want to do Sturgis in 2013 for 2 weeks alone and also in June do Lake Ontario with another close couple...We fell in love with the soft colors..not something to crazy..and not a full paint one either..

Wow, good for you. I'm a road warrior, have a 1991 Honda st1100 I bought brand new. Now I am having second thoughts about giving it up even though I am on oxygen full time. Beautiful bikes, good pics!

I saw your post on the other forum about tv antenna. I just installed a jack qa8000 recently and it is absolutely fantastic. It replaces the head unit of the present antenna so it installs in minuites with two pins and one coax cable connection. Got it from amazon for about 50.00.
Hope you enjoy your new to u motorhome.

Nice looking MH. Love my old 98 HR. For two or three trips a year that is all I need.

Good Luck. See you on the road.

I would have to be drugged or very drunk to get on a motorcycle. But a motorhome like yours I could drive anywhere. You will have fun!! You will always be able to find a clean bathroom!!!! You will meet lots of interesting people!!

Nice Motorhome hope you enjoy it and place many miles on it. We have a 2005 Sunvoyager SE purchased it in 2011 but have not had the chance to take it out allot. I am retired USAF but working full time in Aviation. We did take it to Key West in February 2011 from Ohio and to Michigan, hope to get out more often in the near future. We have a GNC terrain toad. Don't ride motor cycles since younger brother died on one but like to see and hear them often thought about a three wheeler for fun. Enjoy!
