My first RV a 1997 Monaco Windsor 8.3 3060

My name is Dave. I've played with school buses, flipping them for profit mostly, and years ago thought of converting one. The other interest was Silver Eagle coaches, but in the end I liked the idea of a slider and the Cummins 8.3. I put a deposit on a 97 Monaco Windsor with 80k on it, which has a 7.5 Onan diesel with 800 hours on it. It has new tires on it, and its well taken care of, and comes from AZ so the underneath is as clean as can be. May need coach batteries as the only was the generator would start is after the coach was started. I will be living in it half of the time which should be interesting. :-) I'm excited about the whole thing. I'll post some pictures as soon as I find a place to put them on the web.

Nice looking Wndsor for the age. Hope it works out for you.

Couple suggestions

Register your coach with Monaco as they offer great customer support. If you don't have a copy of the data card contact them, give them your VIN and they will send the Data Card, which is a list of most of the components that were used to build your coach.
Contact Monaco Coach
This comes in handy when you are trying fix or replace something.

On the Yahoo Groups site there are 2 Monaco forums, the Moncoers & the Monaco Coach Owners. Both good forums, the Monacers gets more activity and they have a great data base including a parts list that is invaluable when trying to find parts.

I've owned my 2002 Windsor since late 2008, great coach, you will enjoy it.
