How stable is the tv lift? It seems like fighting gravity vs lifts that come up from a buffet. Does it bounce around when stowed and driving?
Thanks

The tv lift works just fine. I like to keep it tucked up away when we are driving unless the kids want to watch a movie. It does not bounce around when stowed or when driving.

Hi,
Not to keep this thread going on forever but just finished by first significant mod to the Excursion -yesterday I built a built in cabinet in one of the bays for a 32 inch TV and sound bar. I plan to feed satellite from the rear bedroom receiver. The TV itself has a built in DVD player in the back. Since the Excursion never had a factory exterior TV I decided to do this.

As far as lost space it does not take up the entire bay -I can still get to half of the bay from the other side. The TV itself is on a telescoping arm and can be pulled out.

I need to figure out the color to paint/stain the wood -don't want to do black.

Waiting to pick up our 2014 excursion 35b next week. Very similar to your unit but has a different kitchen & living room config. Been waiting for 2 weeks to pick it up but there was a problem with DEF gauge on both units on lot. We are so excited and, like you, impressed with affordability of this Fleetwood coach. The 35b is actually 37.5 ft long so the kitchen & bath are somewhat roomier, but we considered the 33 originally.

Enjoy your new bus, and keep us posted on its serviceability. It's a beauty!

Make RVers of the kids early! All the features of your MH seem perfect for a family. Loved the detailed pics and explanations. Why not keep the thread going, as long as there is something to show or talk about? There are likely folks who will benefit or are interested.

How does it handle on the road?? The 33a and Tiffin Breeze are on my short list. Can't wait for the Hershey show as the Fleetwood DSM emailed me back to say they will have the 33a in the demo/test drive area. The posts on the Breeze handling concerns me.

Very nice coach. I have looked at the 33A and the Thor Palazzo 33.1. I read that there are slide problems with many different brand coaches. Could you comment on any slide or other huge problems you have had. It appears that you may fix the small stuff... thanks

My Bounder 34J V10 has been a perfect coach...no problems and everything works after 13 years...kinda hate to trade... ha ha

Finally got our 2014 Fleetwood Excursion 35B and love it! Picked it up yesterday and drove it 250 miles home today after spending night at dealer's camp. Hubby says it handles like a dream. Love the kitchen in the 35B. It's angled, creating a larger work space and eating bar. Residential fridge is huge, and bathroom is so much bigger than other coaches in the 37-38 ft range. The 35b is actually 37.5 ft. L-shape sofa plus a recliner, 40" Sony TV with surround sound and DVD in living area. Bedroom has good quality queen bed, 32" Sony TV, and Slendide combo washer/dryer. Interior cabinetry & decor very rich and tasteful. Did not tow, but feel confident it will pull our Jeep 4-dr. Wrangler w/o problem. Attached are some pics. Anyone looking for a mid-size, affordable diesel pusher should visit their Fleetwood dealer and take a look. By the way, we purchased from Ancira in Boerne, TX, and they were amazing!
