My new ride! 2006 Monaco Beaver
We had been looking for about 2 years, and more seriously over the past year. Shows, drove from KC to TX to MHSVR and about any dealership within 300 miles of Kansas City. I felt pretty lucky when RvTrader pops up this 2006 and happens to be right near me in KC metro. We checked it a few times, drove it and got the history. While not a truck/RV mechanic I have been a gear head and in my younger days worked as a mechanic at a few places.
Feel pretty lucky this one had the upgrades of the Hydro Hot, King Bed, Sat and a few other perks I would have never paid for on a New one. Now to plan the first adventure!
Clearly a noob! Any help on rotating the pictures? lol

Beaver are really nice rigs. I spent 10 months trying to find one I could afford. Never did 😣 First RV I ever looked at was a 98 Patriot, 32ft in perfect shape. I thought it would be too small and owner wanted a premium price. Now I think he was right. Enjoy your Coach 😁👍

Gavin, that looks remarkably like the coach we just bought 2 weeks ago.
We found a 2005 Beaver Monterey Laguna iv
The king bed and the way the coach was outfitted to make it a self contained coach got my attention. We recently sold our 53 Navigator MY that had a king bed, so coming to find a coach with a king bed was priority.
The other option I wanted was a minimum of 400hp diesel motor that this Beaver was equipped with. The hydro hot is also a great option to have.
Now if I knew how to post pixs here I would.
Have Fun
Brad

Good job Gavin! I too have an 06 Beaver Monterey 38' and absolutely love it. For the past two years I have been upgrading it and modifying it to my personal wants. Enjoy your ride. This forum will be able to offer lots of help as you will no doubt have questions.
The Beaver Ambassador Club is a good source of info too.
Steve
