My Toyhauler
want to say this is a very nice site with lots of information. Here is a couple pictures of my home made toyhauler. I started with a 53 ft 3 car trailer then added a 2007 5 wheel .I had to relocated all the tanks . I pull it with a 1998 peterbilt 330 its a little underpowered but stops great.I built this rig to camp at the mud/sand drag racing. I can sleep 10.

there is legs on the main trailer like a semi trailer. i can put up some build pics if you guys like .

Nicely done. Looks like lifting onto the trailer did not raise it too much.
I for one would certainly be interested in build pics.
Where did you relocate the tanks to? It looks like there may be some room under the gooseneck to build a storage unit above the car trailer. How much does the unit weigh?

I moved the tanks under to the car trailer. This winter i want to skirt the rv with 18 inches of diamond plate and remove the old wheel flairs. also build a nice storage box over the gooseneck to fill the void. I figure the trailer loaded with race truck has 14 to 15 k on the rear axles its maxed out with about 4 to 5 k on the neck.

Have to have power! wish it was 59 decibel like the ad said it was but they lied and its over 86 25 feet away. its a inverter but lacks the power it should have for a 1,500.00 generator .
cant forget the golf storage.

Gordon, its 12'6 inches high. That was the biggest problem when I went shopping for a 5th wheel most of them where too tall to start with.
