We just picked up our 2006 28TB-BS Bunkhouse from our local dealer. We researched this trailer for about 6 months. This is our second Dutchmen and just curious how other owners like theirs especially if it is this new bunk style floorplan. I spent the last 2 nights going through everything to make sure it all works fine. Dealer did PDI but missed a few things and all they gave me was a 1 hour "walk through" since I am not new to RV's. I went over this trailer extensively before I made any offers on it. I had my 11 page PDI checklist but decided to do it all at home since dealer claimed everything worked. (aside from the refer and WH not plugged into AC, they were correct)

I got the know the General manager pretty well over the past 2 months. He manages all 3 dealer locations in the area so I do trust them when they say they will fix everything that is not to my satisfaction after our shakedown cruise. Anyway, just looking for info good or bad, or special modifications owners have done. I plan to add my previous generator and inverter/solar panels later.

Congratulations on your new 5th
The kids will sure enjoy their private space, I know ours did when we had TT's.
The research pays off not everyone does and they regreat it later. Dealers always seem to miss something as long as they follow up on PDI items you have a good dealer, some people have a problem once they leave dealer.
Enjoy and safe travels. "007"

Thanks 007, we are going out the 25th of March. Weather looks like rain here in CA though. I love your avatar of "Earth Rise" I used to work on the Space Shuttle program when it was here in Southern CA. I have always been a space buff especially the moon landings. That is one of the best pictures out there.
