New 2011 Sightseer 33y

Just got a new sightseer 33 y My husband surprised me with it for our 40 th. we had a 04 sightseer before. Took for its shake down run end of feb Been in shop since then. Nothing major but the deal forgot to order some parts Just got it back. Can not wait to go again this weekend. Considering going full time next yr when we retire full time. There is such a difference with the three slides creates as far as pace goes and a king size bed. The only thing that it needs is a satellite dish. I do not need one for in motion. Has anyone have the crank up one with magic digital ?

Wow, nice surprise! Beautiful coach.

I have the Winegard Trav'ler DirecTV Slimline SK-3005, which is a motorized roof mount dish. We love it. Up and watching tv in 5 min. If your going to be moving around quite a bit I would recommend you go with a motorized self aiming dish. If you are going to be parked in the same location for a longer period of time then a portable will work just fine.

I still have the wineguard portable I used previously for the rare occasion when the roof mounted dish is blocked by trees. The portable takes about 15 minutes to set up and can be a pain in bad weather.

Beautiful rig, but I'm prejudice as I have a 2011 Sightseer too. I've owned mine for 8 months now and have had minimal problems. I've had two small electrical problems (lightning and battery) but they were easily fixed. Feel free to email me directly if you want to compare notes. My wife and I love the opposing slides as their extension creates so much room. We added a tire pressure monitoring system and are presently upgrading the sway bars to Helwig. We also outfitted our 2011 Honda CRV with a ReadyBrute tow/braking system. Ours came with a crankup sat dish and it works great. Oh well...I'm rambling.
