The vintage pop up served us well for 2 summers but it was time for a change. We have been searching local dealer lots, classified ads, RVTraderOnline, and eBay. This Apache had been on eBay, but didn't sell. I had contacted the dealer with a question, and he asked if I wanted to make a deal. So we negotiated and bought a brand new 2002 Apache RBH 25. It is a quad bunkhouse, with center bath, and front "U" dinette. Its construction features a crowned/trussed roof, 2x2 studs (16" centers in walls and roof, 12" centers in the floor). Despite that it is 4 years old, we bought it with full warranty on everything, except the roof warranty was in effect beginning on the manufacture date.

This model was advertised as a light weight. But UVW is 4706#, GVWR is 6410#. My van pulled it as expected...slowly but steadily. No sway problems with 750# WD bars.

George, I am so happy that you and your family have a new camper. I'm sure you are itching to hit the road and break it in.

Many safe and wonderful trips.

Hugh, 007, Scott, and Ken,

Thanks for your well wishing. I hope to see you all next summer if we can make the iRV2 Rally.

George, I know you've already had the chance to use her and I hope there's many more chances...

I'm sure we'll see you at some Piggie events and hearing you're considering the National is TREMENDOUS!

You'll have to caravan with those other Piggies!!
