We have looked long and hard for several months, in several states and finally found what we want while vacationing in Florida.

Nice rig....We love the Cameo's and that floorplan. Somewhere in the future were hoping there well be a Carriage product in my driveway. How does the Duramax handle the new trailer? I have been a Toyota loyalist lately, but there is no way a Tundra will handle but the smallest 5er.

We got this about 50 miles from where we are staying. I did get up to 50 mph once during the trip back. It seems as good or better than our 2003 Arctic Fox 33-5V. The old fiver had over 40 k miles of towing. I hope we are able to put as many miles on this rig. My next truck is probably going to be a dually.

Any disappointments in the new Cameo yet? At the RV show last week the Cameo's seemed to be very well put togother, very clean & neat construction. We have a dealership here in NE. Ohio who just picked up the Carriage line last year , otherwise it was a long drive to the nearest dealer.

Congratulations on your new Cameo 5-r & may you have many happy travels in it.

The dealer we got our coach from has all the Carriage lines. I've seen what they have on their lot & they look to be well built units, they definitely have a lot of floorplans to choose from & are very tastefully decorated. I really like the full-body paint on the Royals line, too.

As you travel about, keep us posted on how you like your 5-r.

Tom, I remember pulling with a SRW on a BIG rig and I'm with you. I'd get a doolie just for the stability. Couple that with a pneumatic pin box and aside from the weight, it becomes a easy pull!

Congratulations on your new rig. It looks great. Alice looks right at home on the bed. I hope you have a wonderful time in FL.
We are heading down to Fort Lauderdale Feb. 10 to go to Camilla's 40 high school class reunion. We are not pulling the tt down. We are going drive our VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI that we got in Oct. and rough it in a hotel.
We will be driving back to NC on Feb. 15.

Bill

Mike, Dianne gets new car first. I really hate to get a new truck, as to moving the fuel tank and hitch no fun.
