New Dutch Aire for us

Purchased a new 2010 Newmar Dutch Aire 4317 with 4 slides. After staying at the dealer's lot for a few days, we hit the road. This is our first experience with the moho livestyle but not new to camping. It's a totally different type of camping experience. We love it so far.

Hi Rich,

She is VERY nice!! Would love to hear your thoughts on your transition from a TT to a Class A. It would be very interesting to a TT owner like myself. One day I expect that I will be doing the same thing.

Thanks, Jim.

Sheila: Big learning curve even though I've been around RV's most of my life mainly because of the equipment that come with the moho and not on travel trailer. Observations so far are:

Storage: Moho outside compartments filled up fast moving things from the back of my pickup and what we had in the Airstream. I'll be able to dispose of some items that I don't need with the moho.

Setup once at camp is much quicker and easier with the moho.

Interior space: Having moved from a non-slide to 4 slides gives unbelievably more living space. Seems more like a small condo. Part of it the Newmar cherry woodwork is home-quality.

On the road: The 34 ft Airstream with a Hensley hitch pulled by a 3/4 ton PU was a dream to pull. It will take some time to get to the level with the moho but believe I'll get there with time.
